We are Encompass Credentialing & Education Network

Encompass Network Partners was founded in 2007 to provide consulting and educational services to healthcare companies, physicians, and various government agencies.

Encompass Credentialing and Education Network (ECEN) has developed a robust educational program that serves to provide professionals who work in healthcare with an unbiased education cannabis program in contrast to what the most “pro” or “anti” cannabis programs have traditionally and historically provided.

Not all healthcare providers have become “recommenders” of cannabis products in states that have legalized marijuana for either/or medical and recreational use. However, EVERY healthcare setting and practice could be visited by patients who do utilize cannabis or CBD; and healthcare professionals need to be educated and aware of what cannabis or CBD products are, are not, and how they should impact providers communication, diagnosis, treatments, and prescribing other medication.

We partner with regulating medical associations, licensing entities, boards, and governmental health agencies to provide an online Network of continuing Education modules with associate CME / CE credits and certifications for healthcare providers.

Accredited Medical Marijuana Education for Healthcare Providers

Not all licensed providers serve as medical marijuana certifiers—but nearly every clinician today encounters patients who are actively using marijuana or CBD products. In these situations, a lack of formal education can hinder patient-provider communication, obscure clinical decision-making, and create risk when prescribing or managing concurrent therapies.

At Encompass, we partner with medical boards, licensing bodies, and health agencies to deliver accredited, evidence-based continuing education focused on medical marijuana. Our modules are designed specifically for to provide a clear, clinically grounded foundation.

Our education library draws from over 800 peer-reviewed studies and is structured to help providers understand:

The current legal and regulatory landscape

The role of the endocannabinoid system in physiology

Known compounds such as cannabinoids and terpenes

Key findings from ongoing research into therapeutic uses

The interaction of marijuana use with opioid prescribing and chronic pain

Adverse effects, safety risks, and potential for misuse

All content is designed to build awareness, compliance, and clinical clarity. Encompass is committed to helping healthcare professionals stay informed, protect patient safety, and navigate a rapidly evolving area of practice with confidence.

“Without a doubt the best educational program for physicians seeking a complete understanding of medical marijuana.”
